I just posted a whole bunch of pet postcards most from the 1910 era -there must have been thousands of these in circulation because the artwork and cute themes all follow a similar pattern.

Another woman's posterior the Butt of a joke-Hal Empie Kartoon Kard from Duncan AZ 1940's. 

This was a benefit card to aid victims of the 10-17-89 SF earthquake 

This is actually a wax dummy of Elliot Ness as played by Robert Stack from the Untouchables-from the Movieland Wax Museum Buena Pk CA-Thanks Mono. 

1920's card that can be looked at two ways. 

AW Distribution out of Irving TX (home of Lee Harvey Oswald) helped reinforce the lone gunman theory 

V. Colby did a whole series in 1906 out of Denver CO-more 1900's pet postcards to follow..

Another popular theme is women's posteriors-this gem was sent from Montana in 1946. 

Dogs are used often for comic cards-I'll be posting a whole series of dog and cat cards soon--this one by Walt Munson ca. 1930's from Boston's Tichnor.

If you travel cross the USA you'll see many references to using corn cobs-this 1945 Bob Petley card comes from Phoenix Arizona. 

I love this backseat driver's license from the H.S Crocker Co San Francisco 1950's(?) 

Another Outhouse Scenario,undated, perhaps 1930s -from the Curt Teich and co. 

This is a 50's or 60's card that ....is just silly. 

Tichnor Bros Inc Boston Mass., must be around WW! cuz it took a one cent stamp. 

Circa 1908 -sent to Mrs Hill,Springield Oregon--it got there! 

I got this from my friend Jane-leave it on the next car's dash when you leave a parking slot.
